Insurance and Risk Management Director jobs in Columbus, GA

This position is responsible for providing administrative support to Risk Management.

• This position develops, manages, and promotes a community-based project based on risk and safety while working closely with Risk Management.
• Effectively communicate with various departments and directors to successfully plan a “Risk and Safety Day” for the citizens of Columbus, Georgia.
• Performs other related job duties as assigned.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
• Knowledge of office administration and office environments.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Skill in operating standard office equipment.
• Skill in oral and written communication.
• Knowledge of local government and/or risk management is a plus.

The work is typically performed while sitting at a desk or table or while intermittently sitting, standing, stooping, walking, bending, or crouching. Additionally, the following physical abilities are required:

• Visual Acuity 3 - determine accuracy, neatness, observe facilities/structures.
• Walking - on foot to accomplish tasks, long distances, or site to site.

The work is typically performed in an office, library, or computer room.
