Insulation Worker jobs in Kansas
Insulation Worker applies insulating material to exposed surfaces of structures such as air ducts, hot and cold pipes, storage tanks, and cold storage rooms. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being an Insulation Worker is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Additionally, Insulation Worker performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager. Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong mechanical aptitude or demonstrated handiness, with the ability to troubleshoot and handle various tools and equipment efficiently.
- Experience in a construction trade (preferred, not required)
- Proficient in diagnosing and resolving issues with equipment and material
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to jobsite safety standards and perform job-site inspections
- Assist with all stages of insulation jobs including spray foam, blown-in products, which will include material & job site preparation, assting lead technician during install, and cleanup of job site once install is complete.
- Communicate professionally with customers, team members, and management
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in high temperatures, confined spaces, dust/dirt, hazardous chemicals, and heights
- Ability to perform job during long periods of standing/kneeling/climbing
- Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently

Pay: $18 - 25 per hour
