Job Description:
1. Track Part order delivery and inform Honda MGR if the part delivery may affect original correlated Bench build schedule.
2. Works with Honda and Bench suppliers to build new test benches across multiple platforms.
3. Create, maintain, and track bench build schedule for the correlated project validation needs shared by Honda MGR & updating software versions of all ECUs on the test bench.
4. Manage all test hardware design related issues.
5. Follow both company and industry-standard processes and procedures.
6. Ensure all hardware is designed and built using the latest hardware and software level.
7. Manage all Hardware related activities involving supplier requests, test bench building, test bench repair.
8. Act as the communication hub between the development engineering teams and the validation team to ensure the quality of test hardware units.
9. Recognize, report, and correct inefficiencies within vehicle and bench testing.
10. Maintain software versions of all the benches in lab to the latest available software.
11. Assemble test benches.
12. Inventory parts and track part inventory.
13. Support the design and building of large requests for hardware.
14. Perform tests of newly built hardware designs.
15. Troubleshoot and debug performance related issues.
16. Understand new test bench designs.
17. Support vendor requests for new hardware.
18. Provide technical support to different suppliers with hardware related issues.
19. Receive Part from shipping.
