Instrumentation/Calibration Technician jobs in New London, CT

Instrumentation/Calibration Technician calibrate, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot instrumentation and equipment used in a laboratory or manufacturing plant. Conduct routine testing and preventative maintenance to ensure conformance to established calibration standards. Being an Instrumentation/Calibration Technician experience using calibration software and diagnostic tools. Understanding of standards such as ISO,GMP,QSR. Additionally, Instrumentation/Calibration Technician requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Instrumentation/Calibration Technician gains or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Works under moderate supervision.     Main Responsibilities:
    Service Technicians work with their hands-on cars, such as changing oil and filters, adding fluids and checking tire pressure. You will join a team that works together and takes pride in being the best in auto care. We offer generous wages and monetary incentives for aspiring, career-focused people.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform routine vehicle tune-ups and maintenance.
    • Perform thorough vehicle inspections and diagnose vehicle issues.
    • Make fair and honest recommendations on needed repairs as well as potential problems.
    • Make repairs approved by customers and management.
    • Continuously learn new techniques, including implementation of new tools and technology.
    • Contribute to a positive, productive team environment and assist other Technicians as needed.
    • Encourage teamwork, positivity, and accountability among all team members
    Qualifications:
    • 3 years of previous experience as an automotive technician, mechanic, or other related fields
