Instrumentation/Calibration Technician jobs in Meriden, CT
Instrumentation/Calibration Technician calibrate, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot instrumentation and equipment used in a laboratory or manufacturing plant. Conduct routine testing and preventative maintenance to ensure conformance to established calibration standards. Being an Instrumentation/Calibration Technician experience using calibration software and diagnostic tools. Understanding of standards such as ISO,GMP,QSR. Additionally, Instrumentation/Calibration Technician requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Instrumentation/Calibration Technician gains or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Works under moderate supervision. Participate in organizing and performing experiments using established procedures while summarizing and reporting results in a laboratory notebook. Computer data entry including charts and tables for communication of project results and details. Operate laboratory equipment and measuring devices. With guidance, candidate will be expected to follow safety protocols and lab best practices while working with chemicals and lab equipment. With guidance, candidate will be expected to follow quality protocols according to SOPs and ISO 17025:2017.
