Instrumentation/Calibration Technician calibrate, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot instrumentation and equipment used in a laboratory or manufacturing plant. Conduct routine testing and preventative maintenance to ensure conformance to established calibration standards. Being an Instrumentation/Calibration Technician experience using calibration software and diagnostic tools. Understanding of standards such as ISO,GMP,QSR. Additionally, Instrumentation/Calibration Technician requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Instrumentation/Calibration Technician gains or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Works under moderate supervision. 3. Conduct vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance services to customers.
4. Complete repairs and service orders efficiently and accurately, documenting work performed and parts used in accordance with dealership procedures.
5. Test-drive vehicles before and after repairs to ensure proper operation and identify any additional issues.
6. Communicate with service advisors and customers to explain repair recommendations, provide cost estimates, and address any questions or concerns.
7. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools, equipment, and service bays, to ensure efficiency and safety.
8. Stay informed about current automotive technology, diagnostic techniques, and manufacturer updates through training and continuing education.
9. Follow dealership and manufacturer guidelines for warranty repairs, recalls, and service campaigns, ensuring compliance with warranty and safety standards.
10. Collaborate with other technicians and service department staff to ensure timely completion of repairs and customer satisfaction.
