Instrumentation/Calibration Technician jobs in Greenville, NC

Instrumentation/Calibration Technician calibrate, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot instrumentation and equipment used in a laboratory or manufacturing plant. Conduct routine testing and preventative maintenance to ensure conformance to established calibration standards. Being an Instrumentation/Calibration Technician experience using calibration software and diagnostic tools. Understanding of standards such as ISO,GMP,QSR. Additionally, Instrumentation/Calibration Technician requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Instrumentation/Calibration Technician gains or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Works under moderate supervision.     • Install and terminate racks, cable trays, patch panels, cabinets, MDF / IDF, workstation outlets, firestopping etc.
    • Work from all size ladders and varied lifts (must be comfortable with heights)
    • Read and interpret general system layouts from blueprints

    Low Voltage Cable Technician Requirements :

    • 2 years commercial and / or industrial low voltage experience
    • BICSI, Lift, and OSHA Certifications are a PLUS
    • Pass Criminal Background and Drug Screen
    • Valid DriverÂ’s License
    • Reliable Transportation
    • Basic hand tools and PPE gear (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, high visibility vest, steel-toe boots)
    • Working knowledge of the ANSI, TIA, EIA & BICSI cabling standards and the National Electric Code (NEC)
    • Working knowledge of telecom & data networks
