Instructors must hold a current Arkansas Department of Education Teacher's License. If not already certified in Adult Education, they must obtain the Adult Education certification within four years of the date of their initial employment as full-time instructors. A Bachelor's degree or higher in education or related field.

The position will be located at Arkansas Juvenile Assessment & Treatment Center (AJATC) located in Bryant, Arkansas. AJATC is ran under the Rites of Passage Program and implements the Integrated Care Model framework.
Hours: Mondays and Thursdays 7:00am to 7:30pm Tuesdays and Wednesdays 7:00am to 4:00pm
** Candidates will be required to work at the UAPTC South Campus on Mondays and Thursdays from 4:30pm to 7:30pm
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in a correctional facility setting
Experience with distance learning and other technology skills
Familiarity with Career and Technical Education and any tools to provide career pathways for students.
