HOURS: Part-time, in-person. Saturday morning teaching position. Hours not to exceed 29 hours per week.

SALARY: Dependent on experience and qualifications 

RESPONSIBILITIES: This position will provide English as a Second Language and citizenship instruction to refugee and immigrant adults. Develop curriculum and lesson plans that align with program and grant requirements to create an engaging and valuable learning experience. Participate in required staff meetings, in-service trainings and conferences. 

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in Education, English, Spanish (when applicable) or related field and one year experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification or Master’s degree in TESOL preferred. Applicant must be flexible, creative and able to communicate effectively with beginning level students having limited previous formal education. Must have strong cross-cultural, communication and interpersonal skills. 

Must successfully complete all agency background checks. Requires valid driver’s license and ability to obtain approved driver status.
