The Department of Physics at Tennessee Tech University invites applications for two full-time, one-year, non-tenure track Instructor positions to begin August 2024. Appointee will teach introductory calculus- and algebra-based physics courses, including lectures, laboratories, and integrated studio-style classes. This would be a good opportunity for recent graduates and postdocs interested in academic positions to gain some experience with evidence-based teaching strategies. Opportunities for research may be possible. The department also anticipates searching for a longer term appointment in the near future for which successful candidates may be eligible to apply.
