We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pilates Instructor to join our team. As a Pilates Instructor, you will be responsible for leading and guiding clients through various Pilates exercises to improve their strength, flexibility, and overall well-being. If you have a strong background in body mechanics, physiology knowledge, and personal training, along with a passion for helping others achieve their fitness goals, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Pilates classes for individuals and small groups, providing clear instructions and demonstrations
- Develop personalized exercise programs based on clients' goals, abilities, and any specific needs or limitations
- Monitor clients' progress and provide ongoing feedback and support
- Ensure the safety of clients by maintaining proper form and technique during exercises
- Assist clients with modifications or adjustments as needed to accommodate their individual needs
- Maintain a clean and organized studio environment
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in Pilates techniques and methodologies
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of body mechanics and anatomy
- Understanding of physiology and how it relates to exercise
- Experience in personal training or fitness sales is a plus
- Ability to effectively communicate and motivate clients of all fitness levels
- Knowledge of other fitness disciplines such as yoga, group fitness, kickboxing, CrossFit, etc.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients
Requirements:
- Certification as a Pilates Instructor from a recognized program
- CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Previous experience teaching Pilates classes is preferred
