Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead instructor in developing and implementing curriculum for various courses
- Provide instruction and support to students in a classroom or clinical setting
- Collaborate with the lead instructor to create engaging and interactive learning experiences
- Conduct research in relevant areas of study to enhance teaching materials and methods
- Assist with clinical research projects and data collection as needed
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in learning technology and incorporate them into instructional practices
- Provide guidance and mentorship to students, helping them develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure consistency in course content and delivery
- Support student success by providing academic advising and assistance when needed
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development principles and practices
- Experience in critical care, pediatrics, or acute care settings
- Proficiency in learning technology tools and platforms
- Familiarity with medical terminology, veterinary terminology, or related fields
- Ability to conduct research and contribute to clinical research projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teaching and mentoring
- Experience in higher education teaching or instructional roles
