Full-Time Assistant Martial Arts Instructor Wanted For Premier Martial Arts - Concord, NC.
Job Summary: A martial arts instructor at a Premier Martial Arts location is someone who is passionate about changing lives through day-to-day martial arts instruction. An outgoing and leadership-driven personality is a must. A person who can not only teach, but more importantly, inspire others to be the best version of themselves is required. A PMA instructor utilizes the tools given to them to impact as many people as possible, is always a student and never lets their ego get the best of them. A learning attitude is key to the success of this position.
PMA Instructor Responsibilities:
Classroom Floor Duties:
Assisting with the Cycle of Instruction
Assisting the Lead Instructor with classes, as well as teaching classes on their own when ready
Learning the class plans, line ups, drills, and PMA communications
Giving a mat chat
Leading Student Creeds
Greeting students
Helping kids sign into class
Keeping kids focused and on task
Keeping the studio, including the martial arts mat, organized and neat
Motivating and building professional relationships with the students and families
Qualifications:
-Prior Martial Arts Experience
-Black Belt Certificate not mandatory but a plus
-Ability to work with and teach all age groups
-Organized-Self Starter and Team Player
-Service First Mentality
-Comfortable learning & teaching the Premier Martial Arts curriculum.
Hours:
-Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 1:30 - 9:30 and must be available a minimum of 2 Saturdays a month (not necessarily for an entire day) for special events such as birthday parties, parent's night out, white belt bash and parent orientation, phase testing and graduations, etc. Days, hours, and pay might be able to be negotiated to fit a part-time schedule.
