Being an Instructor - Industrial Engineering provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Northwest Mississippi Community College seeks a full-time 9-month instructor for the Industrial Electronics Engineering Technology program located on the Senatobia Campus. The chosen instructor is expected to provide excellent instruction, create a professional environment, and have a solid reputation in our communities for quality instruction and highly qualified and desired graduates for employment.
Minimum Requirements: Must have a minimum of three (3) years of successful work experience within the last five (5) years in the field of industrial maintenance, industrial automation, and/or industrial controls. Must be able to demonstrate successful experience in all areas of electron theory, industrial mechanical, industrial electrical, industrial fluid power applications, various programmable logic controllers, and various industrial automation applications. Demonstrated professional demeanor, positive contributions to a team, and desire for continuous improvement. Associate of Applied Science in Industrial Electronics Engineering Technology or directly related field.
Preferred Qualifications: A baccalaureate degree in Industrial Electronics or closely related field. Five (5) years of successful work experience in the field of industrial maintenance, industrial automation, and/or industrial controls.
