Job Description The TRIO Veterans/Educational Access Program Director will oversee the recruitment two federal grants to serve 900 eligible adults, with 125 of the adults being veterans, from target areas. This position will design, implement, and supervise the delivery of program services which leads veterans and adult learners to successful post-secondary enrollment and/or transfer from 1 or 2-year programs to 4-year educational programs. The successful candidate will maintain grant compliance and Annual Performance Report database to meet federal guidelines/deadlines. This position will also coordinate with Idaho State University staff, College of Eastern Idaho staff, and the ISU Assistant Vice President for Access & Opportunity Programs, to achieve TRIO Educational Access Program and TRIO Veterans grant objectives and overall ISU Access & Opportunity unit goals. Key responsibilities include: Supervision and Management – (60% time spent) Program Development and Training of staff – (35% time spent) Additional Duties and Student Services – (5% time spent)
This position includes working additional nights and weekends, requires a clear background check, and must have the ability to drive state issued vehicles when necessary.
