Instructor - Educational Assessment teaches courses in the discipline area of educational assessment, testing, and measurement. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Educational Assessment provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Educational Assessment typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. The Director of Curriculum and Assessment will work with the
Assistant Superintendent to provide positive, collaborative leadership for
improvement of student learning in the areas of curriculum and assessment
through regular curriculum material adoptions coupled with professional
development focused on increasing the instructional and assessment capacity of
staff. The Director will do so through:

Director is the daily improvement of classroom instruction that results in high
levels of student academic performance. The Director is responsible for all
aspects of the district instructional program related to curriculum materials,
instructional capacity and assessment to achieve high standards for student
academic performance and to do so with a high level of integrity.
