Instructor - Drama teaches courses in the discipline area of drama. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Drama provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Drama typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. This position requires a vigilant, safety minded person to maintain a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment that promotes member wellness and engagement in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures. Must know and be able to perform all skills required for certifications. Applicant must be able to verbally communicate with public and staff.

    • Part-time and year round positions available
    • Responsible for finding substitute when needed and reporting substitution(s) to Aquatics Director
    • Build member relations
    • Maintain equipment and keep area clean
    • $250 bonus for new staff!

    Skills and Requirements:

    • Must be a minimum of 16yrs of age
    • CPR/AED, First Aid, and Oxygen certification (Classes available)
    • Must demonstrate swimming ability
    • Applicants will be required to pass reference checks, a criminal history background check, sex offender check, and pre-employment drug screen

    Pay: $15.00 – $19.00 per hour based on experience and certifications
    Benefits: Free family YMCA membership for all employees
