Seeking coverage for Tuesdays and Wednesdays - 2 Days per week
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule and confirm appointments, coordinating with patients and dental staff
- Manage patient records, including updating personal information and medical history
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Assist with billing and insurance claims processing
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about dental services
- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures, ensuring cleanliness and proper sterilization of instruments
- Enter and scan documents into patient chart
- Import patient x-rays into patient chart
- Respond to emails
- Answer calls
- Assist dental providers during procedures, following aseptic techniques and providing necessary tools
- Perform basic dental receptionist duties such as filing, organizing paperwork, and managing office supplies

- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in dental assisting or office administration is a plus
- Proven experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar administrative role within a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes
- Familiarity with dental coding and documentation practices
- Proficient in using computer systems and dental software for scheduling, recordkeeping, and billing purposes
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with patients and staff
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate record keeping and appointment scheduling
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor
