Being an Instructor - Computer Science provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Computer Science typically reports to a department head. Pyramid Panama City, a nonprofit adult day training program, is seeking a computer instructor to work with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The computer instructor we seek will teach students computer basics and expand their abilities to use computer functions, the internet and graphic arts to pursue their personal interests.
The computer instructor must be reliable, comfortable working with people who have disabilities and committed to assisting students in reaching their full potential. Basic knowledge of computer programs and applications (i.e. Microsoft Suite, Adobe, Social Media, etc.) and the ability to teach are musts.
Personal care is required.
Requirements:
Starting salary is $15.75 an hour and up, depending upon experience. Group health insurance is available for full-time employees. Hours are within standard weekday business hours.
