Job Starts NOW: Each scheduled day, our Mad Science instructors will drive to the school assigned and present a fun 1 hour science class to approximately 10-20 elementary age students directly afterschool. You do NOT need to be a certified teacher, nor do you need to be a science major. You MUST enjoy/have experience working with groups of children and have your own car. You must be interested in a part-time position and available 3-5 days Monday – Friday in the early afternoon (your one hour class is held between the hours of 1-4:30). You must be available for a weekly Friday meeting 1pm. The average instructor will work 3-5 hours a week (1 hour class per day), making $125-$250 per week plus travel. (Depending upon availability and experience). As an instructor you will be LIVESCAN fingerprinted and TB tested. Each day you work, you will drive to a local community center/school site/daycare center you have been assigned to. We train you in the curriculum, and provide all materials.
