Job Description:

The Chemistry Department of Nassau Community College is looking for Adjunct Instructors to teach General Chemistry courses starting in the 2023 Summer and Fall semesters.

Requirements:

The qualification requirements for teaching each General Chemistry course are as follows:

General Chemistry Lecture

• Ph.D. required in Chemistry; and two (2) years of teaching experience at the college level in Chemistry (includes Graduate teaching assistantship in Chemistry) OR three (3) years of recent work experience in the field of chemistry within the last five (5) years.

General Chemistry Labs

• Master's Degree (MS) with research thesis concentration in Chemistry; and two (2) years of teaching experience at the college level in Chemistry (Includes graduate teaching assistantship in Chemistry) OR three (3) years of recent work experience in the field of chemistry within the last five (5) years.
