Responsibilities:
· Teach fundamental accounting principles using QuickBooks software, including accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, financial reporting for service companies, payments and reports for merchandising businesses, bank reconciliation, inventory tracking, loan management, adjustments, bounced checks, and customized reports.
· Develop and customize training materials, , interactive presentations, and practical exercises, to effectively cater to the specific needs and skill levels of diverse adult learners.
· Ensure the delivery of course and program learning outcomes as specified by the course syllabus and program expectations.
· Guide students through practical labs and exercises to help them apply their theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios.
· Evaluate student progress, assign grades, and maintain comprehensive records of attendance and individual performance.
· Foster higher-order thinking and problem-solving skills among learners.
· Accommodate the unique needs of both traditional and non-traditional students.
· Plan and organize instruction effectively to maximize documented student learning outcomes.
Qualifications and Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
· Demonstrated 5 years of experience working with QuickBooks software in an accounting or financial management capacity.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively explain complex concepts.
· Previous experience as a trainer, instructor, or educator is an asset.
· Ability to adapt training methods to different learning styles and levels of expertise.
· Proficient in using training tools and technologies, such as Zoom and Google Classroom.
· Commitment to allocate additional time outside of class for preparation, grading, and other related tasks.
· Must be available to attend program and instructional orientation sessions, which may require a commitment of up to 2 hours, prior to the start of the training program.
