Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team at DoubleTree by Hilton Evansville. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the overall financial health of our hotel.

Responsibilities:

• Financial Record Maintenance:
• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Reconcile and verify financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Financial Reporting:
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Generate financial statements and analyze variances to support decision-making processes.
• Financial Analysis:
• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $37,162.66 - $44,755.04 per year
