    The Title:

    We are seeking for an experienced Process Manager Senior Accountant. This position is critical in assisting with SEC reporting, technical accounting, equity administration, and provides reporting and accounting guidance to accounting operation team as needed. This Senior Accountant reports to the Senior Manager of Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting.

     

    What You’ll Do:

     

    • Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements, footnotes, MD&A, and other external reports (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, Earnings Release, Proxy Statements and Supplemental Financials) as needed
    • Prepare the tie-out support and high-quality documentation for financial reporting
    • Prepare periodic internal reporting packages for executive analysis and presentation to Board
    • Execute internal controls over financial reporting to ensure SOX compliance
    • Assist with technical accounting analysis in areas such as leases, stock-based compensation, debt, and equity
    • Assist with researching and implementing new accounting and SEC reporting standards
    • Interact with external auditors in completing quarterly review, annual audits of the SEC financial statements, and audits of financial statements for statutory reporting
    • Participate in special projects and ad-hoc requests as needed
    • Abide by policies and procedures that support the service mindset
    • Manage timeline expectations within and across teams, deliver on our responsibilities accordingly

    The Qualifications:

     

    • 5 years of relevant work experience including financial reporting and Public Accounting experience with a combination of both
    • Strong knowledge of GAAP, SEC reporting and SOX requirements
    • Advanced skill set with Microsoft products, specifically Excel
    • Strong verbal and written skills to be able to communicate complex items effectively
    • Ability to research technical accounting and SEC matters with strong analytical skills
    • Ability to meet work deadlines specially for monthly and quarterly reporting; a self-starter, takes ownerships of initiatives with limited oversight
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity
    • Workiva and Blackline software knowledge preferred
    • Master’s degree in accounting or active CPA license is preferred

     

    Physical Requirements:

    •  Ability to maintain stationary position to be able to operate a computer and other office equipment
    • Must be able to identify, analyze and assess details
    • For certain positions, must be able to occasionally move or transport items up to 50 pounds
    • Ability to communicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectively
    • Constantly positions self and move about to support ordinary restaurant or food production support or office operations, as applicable
    • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
