Frostburg State University, Division of Academic Affairs, seeks applications for a full-time, exempt Director of Assessment and Institutional Research. Responsibilities: Assist Frostburg State University in meeting institutional priorities and data reporting requirements. Plan, analyze, and write interpretive reports for the University. Participate in the University’s conversion to the new Workday human resources system. Oversee management of the University’s official electronic census files. Oversee coordination of all USM, MHEC, MSCHE, and U.S. Department of Education mandated reporting. Assist colleges with program accreditation requirements. Oversee coordination of all regularly scheduled reporting to internal constituents. Responsible for Frostburg’s data warehouse, managing results, accountability, and assessment reporting. Supervise the staff and oversee the activities of the office. Coordinate with University faculty and staff on ad hoc and special project requests. Represent FSU at the USM Institutional Research team meetings and other university-wide committees.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or closely related area of study and five years of experience is required. Excellent records management, information technology, written and verbal communication and analytical skills and expertise in the use of statistical software applications.
Preferred Qualifications: A more advanced degree is preferable and may substitute for experience.
