    The Role

     

    Artemis is looking for a Research Assistant for the Riverside office. Under the supervision of the Site Director, the Research Assistant will be responsible for supporting various activities associated with the day-to-day operations of the research department in the conduct of clinical trials in psychiatry and internal medicine. 

     

    Position Type: Full Time

    Pay Range: $20-$23/hr

    Location: Riverside - no remote work

    Travel: 10%

    Work Schedule: Monday- Friday 7am-3:30pm

     

     

    Responsibilities

    • Own all laboratory processes and procedures (we can train on site)
    • Prep source charts, ensuring the most recent version of the source is always utilized
    • Collect and record vital signs
    • Perform EKGs and associated transmissions when required
    • Perform lab draws (including processing and shipping)
    • Assist with scheduling vendor-related subject appointments (e.g., imaging, eye appointments)
    • Clean, stock, and maintain department supplies and equipment in accordance with policy and duties as assigned
    • Assist with EDC entry related to source documentation as requested; this does NOT include query resolution

     

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree required
    • Prior clinical research experience preferred
    • Minimum one year experience as medical assistant, research assistant, or similar position preferred; combination of education and experience will be considered
    • Nursing license, medical assistant certificate or similar certification is preferred
    • Commitment and ability to deliver excellent customer service
    • Excellent communication, punctual and responsible
    • Extremely well organized
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Trustworthy, reliable; attentive to details
    • Mature and pleasant demeanor
    • Willingness to learn new tasks and grow with the company
