Institutional Research Director - Assistant jobs in Des Moines, IA

DM Crop Research Group, Inc. is seeking innovative and energetic Research Assistants to support our 2024 summer field research. The selected candidates will work closely with our Research Team and assist in all aspects of conducting agronomy, plant pathology and entomology research trials.

Specific Duties to Include:

• Packaging seed for planting
• Planting with a research planter
• Insect infestations
• Plant tissue sampling
• Research plot maintenance
• Data collection
• Data Entry

Summer workers must be able to work 30-40 hours per week with possible overtime. The workers must also be able to work outside under typical summer field conditions. Prior agricultural experience is preferred, but not required.

Located in Perry, IA, DM Crop Research Group, Inc. offers positions that provide broad broad experience in Agricultural Field Crop Research and the opportunity to be part of a successful, entrepreneurial company.
