Our client is a leading electrical construction company, specializing in residential solar installation projects in the RI/greater Boston area
We are seeking a dynamic and successful project manager to spearhead and oversee the successful installation of these solar projects.
OVERVIEW
Serve our customers and support the team by providing daily project management of residential solar installation projects.
Collect, analyze & submit information related to multiple projects,keeping within specific project timelines, protocols, and guidelines.
PRIME DIRECTIVE FOR POSITION:
Manage installation of residential solar projects
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Plan development submissions
Structural engineering assessment submissions
Building and Electrical permit applications
Part I and II Utility Interconnection applications
Inspection scheduling and coordination
Project photo/ documentation compliance review
Site survey requests
Contracts & Subcontracts
Purchase Orders and Agreements
Prepare weekly and monthly project status updates
Collect and monitor Subcontractor Certificates of Insurance, confirming required coverage and
endorsements.
Organize and maintain site specific reports
Assist field personnel and update project files
Coordinate meetings and conference calls
Order prints and specifications and distribute.
Collect and organize required information to prepare Project Close-Out Package as directed by
Supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree preferable and at least two years of experience in succesfully managing residential solar installation projects
Practical applied knowledge of Microsoft Office software suite
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
