Installation Manager manages a team of installers who are responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing structures and major components. Schedules and oversees the installation of products. Being an Installation Manager ensures adherence to contract specifications and established policies and procedures. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Installation Manager typically reports to a director. The Installation Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Installation Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Job Summary: Utilizes their interpersonal skills to assist the external and internal customers with their needs, including but not limited to scheduling installation jobs.
JOB FUNCTIONS
- Responds to customer questions and concerns
- Resolves and/or escalates customer complaints and issues.
- Coordinates daily scheduling huddle with the service department
- Schedules installation jobs.
- Processes customer leads and new orders.
- Work with the sales team on scheduling requests.
- Responsible for overall scheduling and route efficiencies between jobs and service tickets.
- Process and maintain job ques in a timely manner.
- Assists other departments as deemed necessary by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:

- High School diploma or GED.
- Must be PC literate with some familiarity with MS Word and Excel.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
