Installation Manager manages a team of installers who are responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing structures and major components. Schedules and oversees the installation of products. Being an Installation Manager ensures adherence to contract specifications and established policies and procedures. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Installation Manager typically reports to a director. The Installation Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Installation Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Green Impressions is currently seeking an experienced Landscape / Hardscape Installation Foreman to fill an opening with a landscaping company located in Sheffield Village, Ohio. The ideal foreman candidates should be able to effectively manage a crew of 2-3 employees, safely lift 70-100 lbs frequently, bend and kneel up to 9 hours a day, and drive a truck and trailer combination.
Requirements of the Landscape / Hardscape Installation Foreman- Valid and Clean Driver License is required for Foreman candidates.
- Skills required:
- 3-5 years of hardscape and/or landscape installation or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong communication skills, math skills, job planning skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Working knowledge of standard construction practices.
- Ability to read and execute blueprints.
- Ability to operate mini excavators, skid steers, ditch witches and small engine equipment used in construction.
Skills that would be a plus:
- Basic understanding of electricity, piping and plumbing.
- Ability to recognize plant material.
- Pass a drug test.
