Installation Manager manages a team of installers who are responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing structures and major components. Schedules and oversees the installation of products. Additionally, Installation Manager typically reports to a director. The Installation Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Installation Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. ```Duties``` - Install and configure satellite equipment for residential and commercial customers - Perform site surveys to determine the best location for satellite dish installation - Mount and align satellite dishes to ensure optimal signal reception - Run and terminate coaxial, Ethernet, and telephone cables for network and phone connectivity - Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with satellite signal or network connectivity - Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer questions and concerns ```Qualifications``` - Mechanical knowledge and ability to use hand tools effectively - Experience with computer networking and network installation - Familiarity with Ethernet, Cisco routers, and telephone systems - Knowledge of cabling techniques for low voltage installations - Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues - Excellent communication skills to interact with customers in a professional manner - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
