Netranom is a West Virginia based technology solutions provider seeking a Security Installation Technician to join a team of technology professionals in the Beckley, WV area. This position will consist of installation and technical support for IP video surveillance and card access control systems.

Duties & Essential Job Functions

· Installation, programming and maintenance of security systems

· End user training and support

· Cabling and complete infrastructure buildouts

· Software installation and troubleshooting

Job Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of camera and card access control systems
• Security equipment installation, configuration, maintenance, and repair
• Copper cabling installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair
• Ability to remain in contact with the client thru the completion of the incident.
• Problem-solving abilities and ability to meet reasonable deadlines.
• Ability to build positive and collaborative relationships.
• Willingness to develop professionally.
• Ability to work with little supervision.
• Excellent listening and communications skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong customer relationship skills.
• Organized, detail oriented and self-motivated.
• Ability to provide and maintain detailed documentation on each job.

Relative certifications a plus. Candidate should have 3 years’ experience in a similar role. Salary range will depend on skill level and experience. This position is available immediately.

• Wired/Wireless Network equipment installation, configuration, maintenance, and repair
• Phone system configuration, maintenance, and repair
• Basic knowledge in routers, switches, and other networking devices.
