Sign Shop Manager and Installation Trainer

Role and Responsibilities: 

Sign Shop General Manager- Perform all duties related to the operations of a sign production and manufacturing facility. Work with our internal and external clients to develop and produce artwork, decals, vehicle wraps, and some interior signage for their business. Generate quotes for new projects and maintain our internal database for invoicing and follow-up. To include: large format printer operation, plot cut graphics, weed, mask, tape graphics, and prints for installation. 

Installation Trainer– The ideal candidate must be able to perform, train, and supervise a team of installers on graphic removal and installation on a variety of vehicles. You will be responsible for teaching our 5-day in-house class for new installers that includes, steam-based removals, materials, safety, and installation of liquid laminated 3M graphics. The Ideal candidate should have extensive experience with vinyl applications on all substrates and be very comfortable teaching these skills to others. 

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment

• Work hours are 7 am-4 pm Monday – Friday  / located in Spokane, WA

 • A standard benefits package of Medical, Dental, and Vision is offered to the employee (with an additional contribution). 

• Standard Washington State PTO applies.  

• Salary range of $56,900-$68,900 a year, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications – Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Three to five years of experience with the Adobe suite 

• Two years of proven experience in a vinyl shop 

• Two years of demonstrable skills in large-format printers and cutters 

• Three years of vinyl installation experience. To include vinyl vehicle wraps, cut decals, and installation of varied substrates which includes 2 years of supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and training which includes two years of supervisory experience in vinyl sign graphics. 

Preferred Qualifications (not required):

• Experience using Microsoft applications such as Word, Outlook, and Excel 

• Experience using Roland VersaWorks, and Suma plotting software.

• Experience using ShopVox, Fullbay, or ERP, or MRP software.
