Job Description:

VP-Maintenance is currently seeking an experienced and skilled Building Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team.

VP Maintenance is based in Phoenix and performs work throughout the valley on commercial, office and industrial properties. Candidate Qualifications:

• Reliable Transportation –Truck preferred as transporting equipment and supplies will be necessary (MUST HAVE)
• 3-5 years of General Maintenance Experience (commercial or residential)
• Must be able to fill out digital work orders on company provided iPhone with detailed job notes, materials and completion pictures for all jobs.
• Able to lift over 100lbs or more
• Available to work Monday through Friday 7:00AM to 3:00PM; On-Call Rotation will require occasional after hours and weekend availability
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong Customer Service Skills dealing with customers and tenants
• Valid Driver’s License ( MUST HAVE)
• Ability to pass background check
• Must be able to work independently, and with a team
• Must be able to maintain a safe, clean, and non-disruptive work area

Must have general experience/ knowledge in the following fields:

• General Maintenance/ Repair and Remodeling (Handyman skills, suite turns, ceiling tile replacements, demo, minor TI’s)
• Plumbing (replacing faucets/ fixtures, minor drain cleaning, replacing angle stops and supply lines, pulling & resetting toilet, Etc.)
• Electrical/Lighting (light bulb and ballast replacement, LED Retrofits, replacing light switches and receptacles, minor trouble shooting)
• Carpentry (light framing, setting vanities/ cabinets)
• General Cleaning (vacuuming, dusting, mopping)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
