GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Be able to perform preventative maintenance and repair of production equipment and facilities, ranging from general building maintenance to complete disassembly/repair of machinery and complex devices.
REPORTS TO: Maintenance Supervisor
SUPERVISION GIVEN: None.
PAY: Compensation based on experience
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Requires prolonged standing, stooping, bending and stretching. Must be able to lift 25-100 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination and good manual dexterity. Must be able to work at heights as high as 40 feet. Normal hearing and vision range required.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is performed in a factory environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safety and Productivity of all associates depends on a rational thinking individual who recognizes the importance of, and is well versed in properly maintained machinery.
- Working knowledge and troubleshooting skills in medium voltage electrical circuitry, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics and the discipline of lock-out/tag-out.
- Strong knowledge of Robotic Weld Skills.
- Be a self-motivated team member.
- Good communication with the maintenance team and production associates and Supervisors.
- Must follow and obey all company policies and procedures.
- All duties assigned to be completed with attention to safety and quality.
- Capable of working in confined spaces.
- Capable of working at heights up to 40 feet.
- Ownership of basic tools to perform maintenance duties as assigned.
- Work overtime as needed, including weekends.
- Be able to operate Manual Mills and Lathes.
- General Building Maintenance.
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Some formal post-high school training in machinery maintenance, electricity, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.
- Previous stamping press maintenance experience required.
- Previous experience with Allen Bradley PLC platforms preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Steel-toed shoes and safety glasses required while performing duties in production areas.
- Maintain organized schedules and filing
- Some computer literacy and data entry knowledge.
