Northwest Datacom works with Anthem Security, an authorized dealer of ADT, to provide security system services in Southern Idaho and the surrounding areas of West Yellowstone, MT and Ontario, OR. Essential Functions and Responsibilities
The primary requirements of the position may include installing services at customer’s homes, including cameras to the roof or pole, pulling, and connecting cables, and troubleshooting connectivity issues. You may also be asked to help in the construction of new structured cabling as needed. Additional commissions are also available to installers who recognize the importance of selling and take the time to offer the same service to neighbors of a recent installation.
SCOPE:
-Mount and fasten control panels, door and window contacts, sensors, and video cameras, and attach electrical and telephone wiring to connect components.
-Test backup batteries, keypad programming, sirens, and all security features to ensure proper functioning, and to diagnose malfunctions.
-Quickly activate new Security customers by guiding them through their system installation and setup.
-Fire-stop various types of cable penetrations.
-Maintain vehicle and equipment.
-Maintain inventory on vehicle.
-Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
-Maintain a satisfactory compliance with customer.
-Prepare Daily progress reports.
-Complete assigned tasks on time and under budget.
-Professionally communicate with PMs and Customer.
-We provide all the training, continued training, and certifications for success.
-We provide a take home vehicle, primary tools, laptop, phone, daily uniform, etc.
-This is an employed position, not contract work.
-This is a full-time position with some overtime.

Required Education/Experience:
-High School diploma
-Industry Certifications ADT, Siemens, Z-Wave
-1-2 years’ work experience in Home Security, Access Control installations
-Must have a valid driver’s license.
-Must be able to pass a Drug Screen
-Familiar with computer operating systems, (i.e., Microsoft office, internet browser, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
-Bi-lingual
-Limited Energy certificate preferred.
Special Position Requirements:
-Comfortable with heights.
-Must be able to work variable hours.
-Must be able to operate a lift.
-Must be able to read and understand blueprints.
-Must be able to carry 60lbs, be able to bend, kneel, crawl, walk, lift, carry and climb as needed to complete tasks.
