We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and perform general maintenance and repairs at scattered sites. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial door hardware, drywall repair, painting, framing, carpentry, light plumbing repair and fixture replacement, and light electrical work and fixture replacement.
**Responsibilities: **
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs at scattered sites located in Davidson and Surrounding Counties.
- Repair and maintain commercial door hardware, including door closers, locks, hinges, and handles
- Patch and repair drywall as needed
- Paint walls, ceilings, and other surfaces
- Complete carpentry tasks such as installing shelves, cabinets, and fixtures
- Perform light plumbing repairs, such as fixing leaks and replacing fixtures
- Perform light electrical repairs, such as replacing outlets and switches, and light fixtures
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
**Qualifications:**
- Dependable truck or van and hand tools required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of experience in general maintenance and repair
- Strong knowledge in some or all of commercial door hardware, drywall repair, painting, framing, carpentry, light plumbing, and light electrical work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Valid driver's license
