GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for engaging with existing and potential customers through various communication channels to understand their needs and provide technical solutions. Building strong relationships, responding to inquiries, and presenting product information accurately are key aspects of this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Engage with existing and potential customers via phone, email, and online platforms to understand their needs and provide technical solutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and prospective customers.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide accurate information about products, pricing, availability, and delivery times.
Develop a deep understanding of our products, including their features, possible applications, technical specifications, and benefits to our customers and/or prospects.
Provide technical assistance and guidance to customers, including product selection, troubleshooting and customization options.
Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and sales contracts to customers, ensuring alignment with their requirements and expectations.
Conduct remote visits and present igus products virtually as needed.
Be able to ask qualifying questions to determine potential opportunities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time and type on keyboard.
REQUIREMENTS:
Successful candidates will have a college degree or previous experience.
Computer literacy skills with Salesforce or similar CRM experience a plus.
Effective communication, organizational and time management skills.
Ability and willingness to follow instructions and directions.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Articulate and fluent in the English language.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong understanding of the rules of composition and grammar.
Being at work during regularly scheduled work hours and being on time for each shift are essential functions of the job.
