Inside Technical Sales jobs in Covington, KY
Inside Technical Sales sells technical services, products, and systems. Develops relationships with current customers and identifies potential new customers through visits and calls. Being a Inside Technical Sales creates and conducts technical presentations and demos that present current and future products to potential customers. Utilizes technical acumen to understand and gather customer requirements and to prepare specifications and generate quotes. Additionally, Inside Technical Sales builds customer confidence by addressing all technical objections/concerns from prospective customers throughout the sales cycle. Partners with internal technical and marketing teams to offer suggestions for product enhancements and to share insights from customers. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related technical or scientific discipline. Typically reports to a manager. The Inside Technical Sales occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. What you'll need:
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field;
- AND 1-3 years of sales and customer service experience.
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in project administration duties, including but not limited to metrics preparation, project documentation, and providing various contract-based assistance and support to internal and external customers
- Basic understanding of math functions, including discount calculation and pricing factors
- Strong written and verbal communication
