Inside Technical Sales sells technical services, products, and systems. Develops relationships with current customers and identifies potential new customers through visits and calls. Being a Inside Technical Sales creates and conducts technical presentations and demos that present current and future products to potential customers. Utilizes technical acumen to understand and gather customer requirements and to prepare specifications and generate quotes. Additionally, Inside Technical Sales builds customer confidence by addressing all technical objections/concerns from prospective customers throughout the sales cycle. Partners with internal technical and marketing teams to offer suggestions for product enhancements and to share insights from customers. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related technical or scientific discipline. Typically reports to a manager. The Inside Technical Sales occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     Responsibilities:

    Seeking a candidate who will manage and address customer needs, perform sales calls, secure new business, and grow current accounts consistently and effectively. This position requires having frequent contact with longstanding customers in person, by phone, and walk-ins. Other duties will include generating sales orders, invoicing sales tickets, and working with others at the location to ensure that customer orders are processed and delivered efficiently.

    • Processing Orders: Accurately processing orders to manage the demand of our customers’ needs.

    Qualifications:

    Seeking a detail-oriented person that thrives when multi-tasking. The successful person will be motivated, dependable, shows personal initiative, has an aptitude for detail, and will have a positive mind set.

    • Being comfortable each day with telephone communication with customers and vendors.
    • A willingness to get outside the office if physical inventory verification is necessary.
    • Previous experience in the lumber, building materials, or general parts industry is a plus.
    • Previous experience relating to inventory control is a plus.
    • Previous experience with operating a forklift is a plus.
    • Exceptional work ethic, excellent communication skills and organizational skills
    • Must have reliable transportation.
    • Must have a clean record.
