Injection Molding Machine Operator jobs in South Dakota
Injection Molding Machine Operator sets up and operates injection molding machinery to shape plastics. Reads and interprets blueprints and diagrams to select, position, and secure machinery. Being an Injection Molding Machine Operator adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion. May have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Additionally, Injection Molding Machine Operator requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Injection Molding Machine Operator works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Three shifts to choose from:
Day Shift 8 am-4 pm $16.25/hr eligible for part-time hours
Mid Shift 4 pm-12 am $17.25/hr eligible for part-time hours
Overnight 12 am-8 am $18.25/hr
Here’s what you will do:
· Assemble piece part components, inspect molded piece parts, and perform light assembly or secondary work.
· Safety is the #1 priority to the organization and wants you to be always protected.
· A High School diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
· On-the-job training starts on day one and can be adapted to your learning style.
· Justice-impacted people may apply.
