    Meyer Laboratory is seeking a self-directed, highly motivated and accomplished individual to join our Meyer family as our Director of Information Technology. The Director of IT will oversee the strategic planning and tactical execution of IT for the company.

    Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Director of Information Technology (IT) will oversee the strategic planning and tactical execution of IT (software, hardware, enterprise resource planning (ERP), systems, enhancements, cyber security, etc.), other technical operations (VOIP, audio visual, security [cameras, doors], etc.) and oversee the IT Managed Service Provider for the organization. In addition, will plan, navigate, and execute IT for acquisitions. The Director of IT will also be responsible for managing within budget to hit targeted company metrics and goals.

    • Evaluate and manage the IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) ensuring all contractual and service level agreements are being executed according to plan.
    • Evaluate and maintain technology (software, hardware, network, systems, etc.) needs and make recommendations to the business.
    • Evaluate vulnerabilities and maintain the company’s cyber security infrastructure, plan, and adherence to security requirements.
    • Evaluate and ensure all hardware and software licenses are properly maintained.
    • Evaluate and maintain audio visual, VOIP, and security systems, make recommendations, and ensure performance meets business expectations.
    • Plan, implement, and fully execute all company-wide technology updates.
    • Plan, implement, and execute IT integration for acquisitions.
    • Track and manage all IT assets including device management for technology deployed to the salesforce in the field.
    • Plan and manage within the company IT budget.
    • Provide input and help the company formalize, maintain, leverage KPI dashboard reporting via NetSuite.
    • Work with company leadership to develop a strategy to manage future growth (best practices, etc.).
    • Assist C-Suite leaders in developing data governance and other best practice framework.
    • Manage the company Business Systems Administrator role and ensure day-to-day business requirements are executed according to plan.

    Required Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related experience.
    • Minimum of 7 years of work experience with several years of managerial and direct people management experience.
    • Proven experience in overseeing the design, development and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.
    • Ability to collaborate with others and thrive in a team environment while meeting individual goals and expectations.
    • Adept at providing solutions and working in cross-functional areas to facilitate successful completion of projects.
    • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to explain highly technical concepts in simple terms.
    • High performance people leader and problem solver that is a self-starter with personal accountability and follow-through.

    Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

    • NetSuite ERP experience is highly desirable.
    • Knowledge of U.S. and Canada laws / regulations related to IT, cyber security, and good research / analysis skills.
    • Acquisition experience is a plus.

    Travel & Physical Requirements

    • Travel will be minimal and specifically related to key business needs.
    • Desk and computer work required.
    • Lifting required up to 50 lbs.
