Our long-term client relationship with NASA has led to a need for an Information Technology (IT) Manager on the Human Space Flight Technical Integration (HSFTIC) contract at Johnson Space Center (Houston, TX).
Join the dynamic team at Barrios Technology as the Manager of our Information Technology (IT) Team. In this role, you will lead supervisors and their teams of employees who oversee both operational IT and technical offerings, as well as software development in support of IT services that sustain NASA missions which support the International Space Station (ISS), establish a permanent commercial presence in Low Earth Orbit (LEO), and will take astronauts out of LEO and to the Moon for the first time in more than 50 years.
As IT Manager, you will oversee team members as they build and update computer systems that align with the goals of the NASA organizations we service. Your team will develop, launch, and enhance the organization's applications according to the standards and objectives set by our best practices and the organizations. You will also regularly scan and evaluate the organization's current systems to find any risks, vulnerabilities, and improvement opportunities. As IT Manager, you will then meet with the leadership team to propose and recommend any new software, resources, or solutions to help the IT team meet their organizational goals.
