Evaluates IT infrastructure in terms of risk to the organization and establishes controls to mitigate loss. Being an Information Technology Auditor determines and recommends improvements in current risk management controls and implementation of system changes or upgrades. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Information Technology Auditor typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Information Technology Auditor work is closely managed. Education:
-Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or appropriate, related discipline. (Minimum)
-Doctorate in Computer Science or appropriate, related discipline. (Desired)
Experience:
-Two (2) years of business, industry, government or nonprofit experience within the field of Information Technology, preference for candidate to have experience in information assurance and cyber security and software development. Other desired experience includes database administration, gaming and simulation and/or network and systems administration. (Minimum)
-Related College teaching experience in Information Technology. (Minimum)

-Two (2) years of full-time college teaching experience in Information Technology. (Desired)
