The Health Information Auditor is responsible for performing audits of the medical records to ensure documentation is complete and in compliance. - Develop and implement audit plans and procedures to evaluate the organization's coding processes.
- Stay updated on healthcare industry regulations and best practices to ensure NorthShore providers and staff are documenting in the most effective, efficient, and accurate manner.
- Continues to assess and establish audits and audit procedures in EHR software(s). Track results and actions required.
