Job Title – Information Technology Services Supervisor
Reports to: Information Technology Services Director
Job Purpose: To provide leadership, direction and evaluation of technology and software related to classroom, media communications, and audio-visual classroom resources.
Qualifications - Required
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Technology and/or Communications or related field
Experience in instructional technology/communications and computer applications for faculty, students, and staff
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
Demonstrates functional knowledge of educational technology such as; interactive boards, classroom technology devices, social media, and traditional broadcasting systems.
Ability to coordinate and promote technological curriculum continuity across all grade levels and various academic disciplines as part of the technology component of the New Jersey Student Learning Standards (NJSLS) and the National Technology Curriculum Standards (ISTE)
Experience with video streaming and associated software such as Boxcast
Experience with Chrome OS
Knowledge of mobile devices and their maintenance, distribution, and collection
Must possess a valid NJ drivers’ license
Must pass pre-employment physical exam
Must pass the Criminal History Background check
Must pass Sexual Abuse Disclosure process

Knowledge of school operations and related technology
Duties/Responsibilities
Provides leadership in cooperation with the Information Technology Services Director, in the development and implementation of the district’s annual technology budget and coordinating technology resources.
Supervise and evaluate district television station staff.
Serves as a liaison to Comcast for the management of the EHT Governmental Educational Access Cable Channel 97.
Maintains the community access channel’s Telvue broadcast video server providing streaming programming resources and all related emergency related messaging.
Maintains various technology systems across campuses including: High School stadium complex, district gymnasiums/cafetoriums, district board and conference meeting rooms.
Manages, approves, and oversees the production of video programs for district and special events including graduation
Develops annual educational media technology budget proposals in conjunction with the Superintendent(s), Business Administrator, Information Technology Services Director, Principals and Supervisors.
Promotes the use of technology through ongoing communication with the staff, Board and community.
Repairs and provides preventive maintenance to the districts Public Access Television Channel, On-Demand Video Archive Server, Television Studio and Control Room video broadcasting equipment.
Troubleshooting district-wide sound system equipment, clocks, and paging systems when requested.
Manage and maintain High School E-Sports Lab/Arena space and equipment.
Act as liaising between the district’s photography vendor including scheduling on-site shoots and communicating needs with district and building administration.
Obtain equipment and software price quotes and maintain a list of qualified vendors.
Budget for appropriate technology needs and provide associated justifications.
Attend monthly meetings of the Southern Regional Institute (SRI).
Performs other duties assigned by the Superintendent(s) and Information Technology Services Director
