What you will be doing:
• Managing a team of IT professionals that collaborate with key partners within Information Technology, Human Resources (hire to retire), Payroll and Compliance to develop strategies to transform the business through the use of technology.
• Responsible for driving, championing, and implementing initiatives which support the transformation of the HR HCM landscape. The right candidate will understand current business processes, future state goals, and system functionality to identify solutions and implement change.
• This role will align strategic objectives to the portfolio of HR applications and projects; synchronize projects and their interdependencies; coordinate resource capacity and availability; and identify cost/portfolio optimization opportunities.
• Proactively developing and managing relevant senior partner relationships within Altria and with external vendors.
• Developing organizational, service, and product delivery that improves employee experiences when performing HR processes, providing technology that enables self-service for employees and managers, providing the right tools for managers so that they can efficiently manage their employee base.
• Leading development and implementation of new technological capabilities.
• Consulting on critical initiatives in the end-to end employee life cycle process including Recruiting, Onboarding, Employee master data, Talent, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Reporting and Analytics, and Compliance. Maintains broad knowledge of IT and technology industry leading practices.
We want you to have:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems (IS), Computer Engineering, Information Technology (IT), Management Information Systems, (MIS) or related subject area from an accredited college or university required.
• Master of Science in Computer Science, Information Systems (IS), Computer Engineering, Information Technology (IT), Management Information Systems, (MIS), Technology Management, or related field is helpful.
• 8 years of work experience in leadership roles supporting the following business processes: Human Resources, Payroll and Compliance functions.
• Experience with the SAP ECC 6.0 HCM platform as well as other HR technology platforms. HCM Cloud experience a plus
• Understanding of learning behaviors and encouraging continuous change in the IT environment through understanding of organizational design, service delivery, and how to lead change and culture in an IT environment.
• Knowledge of agile and design thinking methods.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate technical expertise and business understanding
• Ability to adjust to sophisticated environments, multiple demands, shifting priorities, and ambiguity
• Proactive identification of new opportunities and technologies to drive continuous improvement
