FITS is seeking a JDE Systems Accountant who will support JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and implement our transition to Oracle. This role works closely with IT analysts and business users to gather requirements and provide solutions using industry-standard ERP best practices. This role is critical to supporting day-to-day activities of the business.

What you’ll do:

1. Be the J.D. Edwards EnterpriseOne Financial primary resource, including configuring modules and training new users.
2. Develop, test and document application customizations, fixes and interfaces.
3. Interface with ERP and non-ERP technical teams for technical specifications and development of customized objects.
4. Provide application analysis and support for integrated system applications processes.
5. Work with business managers and users to identify, gather information, and understand system modifications and enhancements requirements.
6. Work closely with the technical team to relay functional and data requirements related to issues and modifications.
7. Work with third-party vendors, business managers, and users to provide solutions for business needs.

You will excel in this role if you have:

• 1-3 years of accounting experience
• Experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, focusing on: General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Accounts Payable modules 
• Experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences in a cross-functional team environment
• Excellent business analytical problem-solving skills
• Strong customer service skills
• A willingness to learn new systems
• Self-motivation with the ability to work with minimum supervision as well as to be part of a team
• A background in supporting local government  

Required Qualifications: 

Citizenship: None Required

Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited academic institution or equivalent experience in Accounting or Finance

Experience: 3-5 years of J.D. Edwards EnterpriseOne support experience

Pay Range: $80,000-$100,000/year
