Information Security Manager is responsible for developing and managing Information Systems cyber security, including disaster recovery, database protection and software development. Incumbent is responsible for the successful coordination of information that result in the continuous performance improvement of Eastern Indiana Works. Incumbent is responsible for ensuring that all activities, policies, and procedures are implemented and carried out in compliance with federal, state, local guidelines, and laws. This position collaborates with the entire organization and external partners to ensure accurate reporting of services for all Eastern Indiana Works’ initiatives.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Managed Information Systems (MIS)
· Extract, import/export, and analyze data from various database applications.
· In conjunction with the operations team, works with partners and vendors on reporting of services from all workforce development programs in a timely manner.
· Audit data on a regular basis to ensure data integrity and quality.
· Manage appropriate procedures for the reporting of client services provided, while also preparing and delivering technical assistance and training to the users of all case management/labor exchange systems.
· Ensure that all activities, policies, and procedures are implemented and carried out in compliance with federal, state, local guidelines, and laws.
· Create strategies for information to be shared in an effective way.
· Reporting responsibilities and activities as it relates to the overall workforce development objectives set.
· Carries out monitoring responsibilities in accordance with policies and applicable laws.
· Facilitate team meetings with external service providers and partners to ensure projects meet reporting requirements.
· Serve as the EIW representative for assigned meetings, projects and/or planning sessions.
· Ensure accurate reporting of services provided through the WorkOne system.
· Prepares and submits reports (scorecard) on WorkOne system performance to the management team.
· Coordinate technical assistance and training meetings of all case management/labor exchange systems utilized by WorkOne and other grantees for various projects.
