Information Security Manager

Tower Loan is searching for a full-time Information Security Manager to join the IT team. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about cybersecurity and has a track record of implementing effective security measures.

Responsibility Summary:

• Provide work direction and leadership to IT team.
• Analyze information systems and applications for potential security risks
• Develop new or enhance current security procedures to reduce or eliminate potential threats
• Train employees on security awareness and new procedures
• Interpret security policies, regulations, standards, and other mandates into security control requirements and assess environments against those requirements
• Manage computer security incident response activities, including incident identification and investigation, containment and remediation, reporting, and post-incident analysis
• Conduct and manage technical exchanges with internal and external partners
• Advise and assist with the design and implementation of countermeasures or mitigating controls
• Perform internal/external security risk assessments, annual penetration tests, and vulnerability scans.
• Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimal Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of cybersecurity experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in leading a team.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware/software issues.
• Exceptional critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurring projects that involve many different company departments.

*This position is located in Flowood, MS. The employee will report daily to our corporate location. *

Work Schedule:

• Work Schedule: M–F; 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.; overtime may be occasionally required due to department and organizational needs.
